Sean Lundquist, long-standing and integral member of the Brumbaugh Associates team, passed away on September 25, 2023.  In his decades with the firm, he contributed to hundreds of projects, providing design expertise on site design, planting design, irrigation, and construction administration. He had a keen ability to see the hidden gems and key characteristics of a site and pushed to elevate them in creative but grounded ways. Sean was happiest in nature, on rainy forest trails, skiing Mt. Baker, and beach combing along the shores of the Salish Sea with his family and his favorite dog(s). His connection to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest inspired his practice and fed his soul. We all miss him terribly and will always remember him for his thoughtful contributions to the profession, his kindness, his fun sense of humor and playful ways, his goofy doodles and beautiful tree sketches, and most of all his deep friendship.
