Hello to our clients, colleagues, and friends. After practicing Landscape Architecture in the Pacific Northwest region for almost four decades, and leading Brumbaugh & Associates for more than 35 years, Mark Brumbaugh is announcing his retirement.
Mark’s long and esteemed career in landscape architecture began with a project for a young tech company in Redmond who was establishing a large campus development. Mark worked tremendously hard, continuing to provide landscape architecture services for Microsoft over the decades, while expanding into other corporate campus development projects, multi-family residential, hospitality, and healthcare work. In addition to his work as a landscape architect, Mark was an early participant and leader in sustainable design. He volunteered countless hours of time with the USGBC, serving on the Sustainable Sites Technical Advisory Group for 18 years writing credit language for three versions of LEED, reviewing projects, and serving as the national Sustainable Sites Chair.
Kristen Lundquist is stepping in as the firm’s owner and managing Principal moving forward. She has been a partner with the firm for more than a decade and has almost thirty years of experience in the practice of landscape architecture. Kristen is deeply committed to delivering successful projects and providing the highest level of service to clients. She is a driven leader, and along with our talented team, and building on the great foundation Mark created, will carry the firm forward into a bright future.
We are grateful for the support from our clients and friends over the years, and we are excited to build on our relationships with you all as we work together to create vibrant and sustainable spaces.
